Link-up with Halbro
RAGING BULL, the sportswear company owned by rugby star Phil Vickery, has teamed with a manufacturer to help grow the brand.
The Churcham-based company has formed a partnership with sports clothing manufacturer Halbro to create Raging Bull Sportswear.
Phil Vickery, who is on tour for the British and Irish Lions in South Africa, will remain at the helm. Raging Bull will be able to utilise Halbro’s UK and European-based factories to produce all its clothing.
Commenting on the new sportswear company, newly-appointed managing director, Carl Richards, previously head of sales at Halbro, said: “It’s a great partnership that unites the best of a British design and a powerful sports brand in Phil, with Halbro’s solid, established manufacturing expertise and facilities.”
Phil said, “It’s great to team up with Halbro and take the Raging Bull clothing company to its next stage of Growth. The number of clubs wearing our kit at all levels is moving at a great pace.

15 June 2009 - The North West Intermediate Rugby Union League (NOWIRUL) is pleased to announce Phil Vickery’s company, Raging Bull, as the Cup competition sponsor for the new season, as previously supported by Halbro, and a result of the recent partnership between the two sports clothing companies.
Established in 2003, the NOWIRUL has grown at great pace and now comprises 200 teams, with over 3000 players, competing across 14 leagues every Saturday.
The Cup competition is split into four sections where two top divisions play for the Cup and the next four divisions for the Trophy and so on, in a competition that is an official highlight in the rugby calendar and endorsed by the RFU.
The sponsorship deal was secured hot on the heels of the exciting formation of a new-look company, Raging Bull Sportswear, still part of Phil Vickery’s Raging Bull empire, but dedicated to the design and supply of sportswear - play and train gear.
To take the company to the next level in its growth Raging Bull has teamed up with established sports clothing manufacturer Halbro, and so now utilises Halbro’s UK and European based factories to produce all its sportswear.
Raging Bull, one of the fastest growing brands in the sports industry, delivers more than just rugby clothing, and comes with all the Phil Vickery (MBE, England and Wasps prop) and player endorsement activities that go with a powerful presence in the rugby industry.
Commenting on the Cup sponsorship, newly appointed Raging Bull Sportswear managing director Carl Richards, previously head of sales at Halbro, said, “We have enjoyed a long and successful relationship with NOWIRUL and it’s great to see how over the years the League has grown massively.
The recent Cup Finals held at Birkenhead Park RFC produced some fantastic competitive rugby. We look forward to another great season.” “It’s great to see the passion and energy of so many rugby players and clubs competing in this League. Raging Bull is pleased to be associated with such a prestigious tournament and I wish all the teams the best of luck in reaching the finals,” said Phil Vickery.
Raging Bull Limited is Phil Vickery’s exclusive sports clothing company that supplies branded, high quality performance clothing for sports and team wear and leisure. Established in 2003 the company has grown from grassroots rugby to a brand that punches well above its weight in supplying play and train team kits to clubs on national and local levels - seniors, ladies minis and juniors.
