Promotion / Relegation
Due to queries on the Forum the question of the above was brought up at a Committee Meeting last night and the following will be the norm this season.
All teams in a Promotion position will be promoted.
All teams in a Relegation position MAY be relegated.
However, any teams not in a relegation position will not be relegated. i.e.
In Premier League:- Teams 1 to 12 are safe. Only team 13 at present time will be relegated.
In Division 2. 3 Teams to be relegated. Positions 1 to 11 will not be relegated.
Even if a team leaves that League teams 1 - 11 will not be relegated.
In Division 3's, 8 teams to be relegated from 3 Divisions 3's. Bottom 2 from each League + worst
2 3rd from bottom teams.
That means Teams 1 to 11 in each League will not be relegated
I have altered the colours on the league tables to ensure that only the relegation and promotion spots are in the different colours.
All are now correct. BUT, in Division 3's it must be remembered that EIGHT teams go down from THREE Leagues. One of those highlighted will not go down.
I hope this clears up any doubts in anyone's minds.
