Just asking for a friend

Sandbach 2s concede away to kendal not surprising given the stupid distance
Sandbach 3s get a walk over against oswestry and get the points
But surly that's not right

Kendal travelled to Sandbach.
Nobody else has conceded against Kendal.
Sad state of affairs if, in Division 1, a team concedes due to the travelling distance for this one trip a season.

What's wrong with organising a coach trip in advance? Club officials, captains and players were given the fixture list at the start of the season.

Seems odd that they didn't travel, especially if Sandbach 3s' opposition conceded as the original post suggests. That should have helped them with playing numbers. Their 3s certainly should not get any points in these circumstances, that does not seem fair at all.
Sandbach 2s have a strong team this year and are riding high, so you would think that they would want to play.
We travelled to Kendal with only 14 men a few weeks ago and were well beaten by an impressive young team, but we were glad to have made the trip and we tried to make a game of it. Kendal proved to be good hosts and the new clubhouse was fantastic. It's not even that far for a once a season trip - well under two hours as long as there are no delays.

Sandbach 3 did not get any points. They have had 4 points deducted.

If a club were to organise a coach for trips of over 150 miles round trip would they be entitled to any allowances as per RFU allowances?

In a word... No, this isn't a RFU Competition
