I'm not on the NOWIRUL committee and was not part of any discussion or decision. I would guess that one of the things that may have been considered would be whether Moore as a club might fold if they didn't continue to be in a structured competition. It may have been decided that keeping Moore in existence overrode any possible unfairness to the other teams in 4 South.

You will note the vagueness of the above paragraph. I have no knowledge of the discussions that went on.

Rem let me think teams have played a 2nd team some twice now some teams have got to play a first team with pagainst players who are used to a higher standard

Good result for them today turning around a 40 point defeat to a 40 point win

actually it was a 31 point defeat at their place when we were short of players, and this week it was a 33 point win when they were short of players. If fact at least 10 of our players played in the away game as well. It was good to watch and both teams enjoyed the game and over 30 guys got a game of rugby.

I think it's a good decision by the leagues. Clubs go through ups and downs and without other teams we haven't got a game. Hopefully Moore can start to rebuild rather than fold. Played at GoM several times and always a good club to visit. I wish them well
