End of Season Message from the Chairman Ladies and Gents, Another season of the Miller Homes Leagues and Bateman BMW Premier League is over. We are now fully prepared for our end of season events, starting with The Halbro Cup Finals this coming Saturday May 3rd at Blackburn. The eight Finalists deserve our congratulations after coming through a Competition that started last October with 3,000 plus players. They will have a fantastic day. Our Presentation Dinner is now fully booked. We will have 280 lads present, what an advertisement for our Leagues, and what an impression this will have on our esteemed Sponsors. They again will enjoy a most enjoyable evening. May 19th is the evening of our AGM. Please if you have any views to offer come along, even if you haven't, come along. It has been a long hard season, our Promoted sides have earned our congratulations, and the ones moving down we offer our commiserations, but we know you'll be striving to move up again next season. The co-operation this season in result reporting has just been terrific, I know both Barry Allen and Reg Robinson are grateful of this, and I'll offer thanks on their behalf. We have had one or two controversial decisions to make, I am sure at the end of it all people respect the outcome of these decisions with reasonable support. The strength of feeling can be see on Barry's innovation The Forum, I think a great avenue for people to get involved in our organisation. Your Committee would like to thank everyone for their support this season, we will have an extra League next season, please keep looking at the Web Site for details. Finally and by no means leastly I am glad to report that Barry's health is improving albeit slowly, he is now able to operate the Web Site and I'm sure we are all looking forward to him making a full recovery.
