RUGBY TOUR

A big thank-you to everyone who hosted one of our touring teams last season or helped us organise tournamnent entries.

As another season draws to a close, those of you not donning your cricket whites will be looking forward to a well earned summer break.

Summer is a great time to start thinking about your rugby tour for next season. By discussing your ideas with us over the coming months you will be able to go back to the club in September with proposals in hand which gives your team longer to raise funds which will make it possible for more people to be part of your tour.

One tour option would be to take your team on a PLAY AWAY WEEKEND - follow Sale Sharks to an away fixture, watch the match and then play your own fixture at a host club.

Clubs booking with us will again benefit from a Sale Sharks Fundraising Pack which includes a signed shirt, training session at Carrington and match tickets for the team for the last game of the season. This year as part of our ongoing relationship with Sale Sharks, we are proud to announce our sponsorship of Neil Briggs who was voted 'Community Player of the Year 2009'

Last year we also enjoyed watching the teams vie for a first in the Lancashire Schools Cup which we will again be sponsoring as part of our support for schools in our area.
