Fred was one of the founder members of the North West Leagues along with John Powell, Reg Robinson and our current Secretary Paul Whiston. From that small Group Nowirul has developed into one of the two Leagues in the country based entirely on Grass Roots Rugby. Fred has been Fixture Secretary at Vale of Lune for some 36 years and Referees Contact for the past 30 years. Fred has also been involved in other issues affecting the game as a whole but is now concentrating on further development of the established North West Leagues.

Results

Both sides are responsible for sending in the results. Score must be checked with the referee. These must be supplied to Fred by Saturday 6.00pm at the very latest. This can be done by text, telephone or e-mail.

Postponed Games

Postponed games are normally re-arranged for the next available weekend by the Honorary Fixtures Secretary in collaboration with Fred. Re-scheduled fixtures will be shown here within a day or two of the postponement.

DO NOT assume you can simply re-schedule your own games when you have a postponement as there are knock on effects and other Teams' fixtures to consider. Any suggestions can however be discussed with Fred.

Managers should please notify Fred by eMail of any re-scheduled games or fixture switches / reversals which they spot have not been updated in the Fixture List.
